We all die, but we don't all truly live. Live our dreams, live beyond the mundane, live a life of passion and purpose. We live shackled be fear, unable to fly. We are afraid to fall, to try and fail and so we don't even try. Yes we might fail, but if we don't try we will never succeed. It is in those moments of success that we truly live, moments of magic that make living amazing.
Terry Brooks once said " sometimes the magic happens". My golf game is like that, sometimes the club connects just right with the ball and I have an amazing shot. I know that if I learned how to golf and practiced more I would become more consistent at it, I just don't care to. Whatever I do in life if I truly care I can make the magic happen. The more I learn and work at what is in my heart the more consistent the magic will be.
The Celts used to believe that where physical plains overlap there is a third connection made with the world of fairy. An example of this is the shore, a meeting of land and water. Now the more physical connections that could be made, the stronger the connection with the magical world. A tall island at sunrise would connect land, water, sky, day and night. They would mark these sites in order to capitalize on the greatest centers of convergence.
I believe the more things in life that overlap, the more intense the living experience. When batteries are connected there is more electricity, when colours are combined they intensify. When my ability combines with knowledge and expresses what is in my heart and then connects with another individual in a moment that is enhanced by environmental factors, that is a moment when life becomes something amazing.
We need to connect as many elements in life as we can in order to get the most out of life. Work hard and strive towards achieving a life that crosses over into a world that is magical. We need to live with our eyes open and look for the crossroads where life becomes more intense. We must not be afraid to live.
