Simple Truth

I heard on the radio the other day a member of parliament ask another member if they were going to increase spending in a certain area.  After a fifteen minute response the first MP repeated his question adding yes or no to the end of it.  It is funny that we believe when someone uses lots of fancy words they most know what they are talking about because we sure don't have a clue.  Meanwhile the snake oil salesmen is not fooled by a long winded response.  I like metal puzzles.  I struggled with one in particular for quite a while.  When I finally figured it out the solution seemed so simple.  When something appears complicate and confusing maybe that is because that is all it is.  I think we as society need to be less impressed and more discerning.
